Why are Vertical Flow climbing pants so comfortable and durable?
To offer you optimal comfort, we selected the best fabrics, optimized cuts, and tested our pants under the toughest conditions. The result:
- Unique 4-way stretch cotton fabric that – unlike conventional fabrics – stretches in all directions and thus allows maximum freedom of movement.
- Well-thought-out fit and cut
with sewn-in gusset, additional seams at the knees and a comfortable waistband. - Elastic and reinforced seams in key areas for even greater mobility and high robustness.

Vertical Flow – born from the love of movement
Vertical Flow was born out of a passion for climbing, bouldering and free movement.
Aga, the founder, has been climbing and bouldering for over 25 years – on rock and in the gym. Back then, she climbed up to 8b, but now she's a bit more relaxed.
During countless climbing sessions and trips, she and her friends repeatedly noticed that even clothing specifically made for climbing often restricts freedom of movement.
This is how the idea was born to develop the most comfortable climbing pants in the world – with maximum freedom of movement, robust workmanship and a look that is also impressive in everyday life.

All ideas and designs originate in the heart of sport climbing—the Franconian Jura. There, they are extensively tested and refined until we hear the Franconian "Basst scho" (that's it)—and are truly confident that everything fits, fits, and delivers what it promises, so you'll be completely satisfied with the product.
Sustainable production
Vertical Flow products are manufactured in Poland—our founder's hometown—by fairly paid specialists with a wealth of expertise, care, and passion. Production in the neighboring country not only ensures fair working conditions but also short transport routes, thus reducing the ecological footprint.

Note: Our Chill Cord and Ladies Chill Cord pants are made of extra-soft baby corduroy—perfect for relaxing or on less abrasive rock types. We do not recommend these exceptional models for extremely rough terrain. All other climbing pants for men and women are specifically designed for maximum durability and longevity.
